Trainer certification for the certificate course “Economic competence for more effectiveness and efficiency in Chinese factories and companies”

Education and especially vocational education are considered worldwide as the engine for economic development, product and process innovations, competitiveness and social stability. However, many countries do not have the ability to meet the existing and increasing need for qualifying their skilled personnel through their own education systems. The educational demand and with it the potential for international markets for (further) education are enormous. Internationally, there is a high interest to benefit from the German competences and strengths in the area of vocational education.

The Chair of Business and Economic Education is taking part in a joint research project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, whose task is the implementation of a further education offer for the advancement of  “Economic competence for more effectiveness in China”. The project is offering a cross-cultural concept for constituting economic competence of (prospective) skilled personnel and executives. It aims at the optimization of the value chain processes regarding effectiveness and efficiency by making the persons involved in these processes understand economic interrelations in such way as to enable them to act with economic competence in their job.

The Chair of Business and Economic Education is responsible for the development, scientific supervision and evaluation of the workshop-concept regarding the multiplier/trainer/examiner certification in China. Furthermore, it carries out the analysis and the implementation-oriented preparation of factors of success as well as the identification of specific barriers and constraints for the export of the multiplier/trainer/examiner certifications. Additionally, the chair is developing transferable methods and instruments for the systematic development of services regarding the process of the internationalization of services of education relating to the multiplier/trainer/examiner certification of the education offer.
